• The Guitar Man is here!  Jim McCutcheon arrived Monday morning  with a car full of guitars, ukeleles and other stringed instruments to share with the children. In addition to spending the week working with classes, the Guitar Man will perform and lead us all in song at an Artist’s Celebration at 6 pm this Thursday, May 15.
  • Class pictures will be taken this week. Information about ordering a class photo was sent home with children a few weeks ago. If you have questions, please contact the office by phone or email.
  • Participate in the Strawberry Festival: Sign-ups continue in the Gathering Place and online for volunteers who would like to join other Overfield families and friends at the Strawberry Festival. There are still opportunities for volunteers to sell drinks at the festival on June 7 and 8; volunteers can also sign up to ride (children) or walk (adults) with an Overfield float in the festival parade June 7. Click here to volunteer for Overfield’s Strawberry Festival booth and float.
  • RESCHEDULED Night Hike, Friday, May 16 at 6:30 pm: Due to threatening thunderstorms last Friday, our annual Night Hike and Kindergarten Camp out has been postponed to this Friday, May 16. This event for all families gives us the chance to observe the campus at night while we are away from school. Bring a flashlight and dress for walking. Our Kindergarteners have been preparing stations for the event and will serve as guides for the evening. To celebrate, the Kindergarten children will camp out in tents afterwards.
