Night Tree: Night Tree is a special Overfield tradition for families and teachers to embrace the holiday season. Based on a book by Eve Bunting, our annual winter tradition is a celebration that complements our nature-based curriculum. Children research our local animals and prepare food for them. On the night of the celebration, our families come together to sing and celebrate literature, nature and the simple joy of being together. The evening concludes with a visit to trees on campus, where children and their families hang treats for the animals. Please dress warmly, wear sturdy walking shoes and bring a blanket to sit on and a flashlight.

Ann Anzalone to Speak at Overfield in January: We are very excited to announce that Ann Anzalone will be speaking to current Overfield families on January 13th at 6:30pm in the Gathering Place. Ann will talk about the affect that screen time has on brain development. This is a “can’t miss” event!

The Overfield Community Gala: We are gearing up for the 2nd Annual Community Gala taking place on February 20th at the Troy Country Club. Our goal this year is to raise $50k toward a new playground. We need help from our talented and committed parents to pull this off. We have an immediate need for an auctioneer. If you have questions, please email Amy Harris, Event Chair.

Congratulations to us! The Overfield School was voted “Best Preschool” in Dayton for the 2nd year in a row!
