Join us for Autumn at Overfield!
Autumn at Overfield is fast approaching! This fun-filled day will take place Saturday, October 12th from 4-8 p.m. We need your help to make this day a success!
Please click here to volunteer to set up, clean up, or to work one of many fun stations.
Chili Cook-Off. Do you have a winning chili recipe? Enter it into the Overfield Chili Cook-off! The soup with the most votes wins a $50 gift card and the soon-to-be-famous Chili Master trophy. Follow this link to sign up to bring your best chili, or sign up in the Gathering Place.
Pumpkin Glow – Buy a pumpkin from the Overfield Pumpkin Patch, which will be coming soon. Then, carve your favorite design and bring it back on the day of the event to add it to our 2nd annual Pumpkin Glow–an illuminated trail of carved pumpkins. Pumpkins and carving stations will also be available the day of the event. Pumpkins will be $5 and can be purchased by putting your money in the box labeled “Pumpkin Sale” in the Gathering Place, by bringing your money to the office, or by putting your money in an envelope marked “Pumpkin Sale” and leaving it in one of the office communications baskets. Once you have paid for your pumpkin, you can pick it out from the Overfield Pumpkin Garden (the Vegetable Garden across the street from the Gathering Place).
Other Exciting Activities – The day will also feature art experiences, nature activities, a hayride, face painting, an obstacle course, concessions for sale, music with Carla Briggs, a petting zoo, apple cider by the bonfire, Overfield honey for sale, and lots of fun games!
Food, fun, and more! This event is open to the community, so invite all of your friends. You don’t want to miss it!
Please join us for a relaxing evening that opens dialogue among parents, and between parents and teachers. Class meetings are a time for parents and teachers to share ideas, as well as to discuss the children and what is happening in the classroom.
These meetings will take place on Tuesday, October 8th for South Side and K-2 parents. All class meetings are at 6 p.m. and will take place in the respective classrooms.
Childcare is available for this event on a first come, first served basis. Please email email@example.com to reserve your spot.
If you plan to request before or after care services, please make sure to call at least 24 hours in advance of the time you would like your child to attend. Availability can not be guaranteed, and is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you use before or after care, please make sure to make direct contact with one of the supervising teachers when you are dropping off or picking up. This is essential in order to ensure the safety of each child.
Thanks for your cooperation!
